Is Iran Preparing to Shock the World?
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has been making a lot of noise lately and plans to deliver a “telling blow” to the world’s leading powers when Iran marks the creation of the Islamic republic by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the regime’s founding father, following his return from exile in France in February 1979.
I remember those days well.

Now Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Khomeini’s successor as the country’s spiritual leader, is at again promising that Iran is about to deliver a “punch” that will stun world powers during the anniversary celebrations.
I don’t trust Iran.
And I seem to recall that Iran is currently holding 3 American hikers that were stupid enough to get picked up on the Iran-Iraq border and are going to put them on trial for spying.
Oh, like maybe North Korea holding two American journalists, putting them on trial for spying, firing off missiles over Japan, and Kim Jong-Il getting a photo op with Bill Clinton before releasing the hostages.
What was the secret payoff for that?
Oh, did I say hostages?
Nobody else is saying it.
All this could be a whole lot of bluster, or maybe something terrible is about to go down on Thursday.
Is Barack Obama paying attention?
