CASEY ANTHONY ON TRIAL FOR HER LIFE IN FLA.

THE PARTY'S over for Party Mom Casey Anthony. Her first-degree murder trial began today in Clearwater, Florida and if convicted she could be executed. She is accused of murdering her toddler daughter Caylee, 2, in 2008--and then lying to cops.
Caylee vanished June 16, 2008 and six months later her remains were found in woods not far from her grandparent's house.Anthony has pleaded not guilty and denies ever harming her child. However, a mountain of evidence piled against her seems insurmountable
although much of the evidence is circumstantial.

Anthony told cops she had last seen her daughter with a babysitter named Zenaida Gonzalez. According to CNN: Investigators never tracked down the babysitter; later, a woman named Zenaida Gonzalez filed a defamation suit against Anthony, saying she had never met her and lost her job over the claims. Anthony countersued, accusing Gonzalez of attempting to cash in on the high-profile case.  The prosecution believes Anthony was desperate to carry on with her hard-partying life of sex, drugs and parties. It's believed they stashed Caylee's body in the trunk of her car. A cadaver dog sensed the scent of human decomposition and there was evidence chloraform was used.
But the most damning evidence to her case is the 25-year-old behavior after her disappearance. She was out at nighclubs, texted her friends constantly and rarely mentioned Caylee
CNN adds that another hurdle for the accused child killer: during the time Caylee was missing, Anthony also got a tattoo  reading "Bella Vita" -- Italian for "beautiful life." Oh, oh...
