SHE WILL go to her grave remembering the morning she woke up to death and carnage. Cops in rural Ohio say an 8-year-old girl got up Saturday and discovered four of her family members had been shot to death in the home they lived in. According to detectives, the little girl--whose name was not released--slept through the shootings.
But when she got up, cartoons, still playing she discovered her mother and sister lying dead and fled in horror to a neighbor's house. Police arrived and broke into another bedroom where they found another relative, Sonja Stephens, 46, dead in dead while another member, George Stephens, 68, was dead from a gunshot wound sitting in a living room chair.
The chief suspect was a goober named Randle Lee Roberts III who had been
staying at the house for several months--hiding from cops. After the discovery of the bodies, Roberts led Columbus police on a chase in his pickup truck. When he fired at them, he was shot and killed. Cops are unsure what triggered the killer's bloodlust.
Adams County Sheriff Kim Rogers said: "We were unaware he was here. I don't know what set him off."
