Democrat politicians are experts at pitting one group of people against another. In the case of tax cuts, there are more middle class people in the United States than there are poor or rich.

So, it’s simply a numbers game of trying to grab the attention of the biggest group of folks.

“We don’t want to give tax breaks to billionaires and millionaires, ‘is the latest refrain in the class envy hustle. What Democrats always conveniently leave out of the conversation is that the top 5% of those billionaires and millionaires pay 80% of the overall tax bill.

If these rich people suddenly disappeared of the face of the earth, the United States would become Bangladesh overnight.

These are the achiever class that take risks and start businesses.

These are the people that stayed in school or gained a marketable skill.

These are the people that didn’t have 6 babies by 6 different women.

These are the people that were once as poor as dirt, but that didn’t stop them from being more than that.

These are the people that made positive life decisions for themselves and their families.

And all those other people that can’t seem to get their life together because it was always somebody else’s fault, or others who are ridden with guilt for what they have, well, those are the ones who vote Democrat.

Kayla Collins gets boot from I’m a Celebrity

You had a good run Kayla!

The Sun reports that juncle-hating model Kayla Collins and comic Dom Joly both got the boot from I'm A Celebrity last night.

Playboy bunny Kayla, 23, whooped on hearing the result, yelling: "I'm going!"
She said later: "I am so happy to be out. It has been full of ups and downs. One day I was so happy and then the next day I was crying.

"If it wasn't raining it would have been better. It has just been so miserable and cold. But it has been an amazing experience."

Muslim imam (Sheikh Abu Adam) who lectures on non-violence in Germany is arrested for beating up his wife

It’s a good thing this guy wasn’t one of those violent Muslims otherwise his wife would have her head chopped off, burned, and hung from a tree.

The Daily Mail reports that a Muslim imam who lectures on non-violence and advises the German government on interfaith issues has been arrested in Germany for beating up his wife.

Sheikh Abu Adam, 40, is now on remand in Munich while his wife, 31, is being guarded by police.

She was allegedly assaulted so badly that she suffered a broken nose and shoulder and numerous cuts and bruises.

Media reports claimed the woman, who has borne one of his ten children, wanted to live a more 'western' lifestyle and was allegedly attacked after telling her husband.

The police said they received a call from a lawyer hired by the victim.

Adam is alleged to have shouted a verse from the Koran at his wife as he beat her.

The line said: 'Good women are obedient. They guard their unseen parts because God has guarded them.

'As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and send them to beds apart and beat them.'

The imam is said to have refused to let police officers into his home, but they forced their way past him because they feared the woman's life was in danger.

In the end he continues to deny his wrong doing because his mind has become corroded with a dark arrogance. He feels no shame because his morality is a twisted cesspool of entitlement, greed, and self importance.
Rangel has been reduced to a pathetic creature, a caricature of the fat cat politician that only abides by his own warped rules.

But, the really sad and disgusting part of this whole thing are the Democrat congressmen that actually gave him applause.

TPM reports the House of Representatives voted 332 to 79 to censure Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-NY) on Thursday for violations of the body's ethics laws.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) read the censure on the floor of the House immediately following the vote.

Today's vote brought an end to the investigation of the long serving New York Democrat, who was found to have violated 11 of the House ethics rules. The charges centered upon four issues: that Rangel used Congressional resources to raise money for an educational center bearing his name; that he failed to report taxable income on a rental villa in the Dominican Republic; the he filed inaccurate financial disclosure forms; and that he used a rent-controlled apartment in Harlem as a campaign office.

Several members from both parties spoke in support changing the punishment from censure to reprimand (For more on how these punishments have played out in the past, see here.)

And Rep. G.K. Butterfield (D-N.C.), a member of the ethics committee, proposed a motion to lessen the sanction from censure to reprimand that ultimately failed by a vote of 146-267. It had the support of 143 Democrats and three Republicans: Reps. Pete King (NY), Ron Paul (TX) and Don Young (AK).

Shark Attacks 4 Tourists at Egypt Resort

I'm sure Liberals will blame this on climate change.

CBS News reports that an oceanic white tip shark badly mauled four Russian tourists swimming close to their beach hotels in two separate attacks at an Egyptian Red Sea resort, a local conservation official said on Wednesday.

Director of Sinai Conservation Mohammed Salem said the shark attacked two Russians swimming in the Ras Nasrani area near the famed Sharm el-Sheikh resort in the Sinai Peninsula and bit their arms off. The same shark may also have been involved in an attack on another pair of Russians on Tuesday swimming close to the resort beach, he added.

The shark badly injured a middle-aged woman's legs and back and bit off her hand. She had a heart attack and had to be resucitated at the hospital. The second victim, a 70-year-old woman was found with her right hand and left leg torn off. Diving instructor Hassan Salem (no related to Mohammed Salem) said he was on a dive at the same time of the attack and was circled by the same shark before it went after the couple.

"I was able to scare the shark away by blowing bubbles in its face, but then saw it swim to a woman and bite her legs," he told The Associated Press.

Salem said the water turned red with the blood from the attack, and he rushed to take the diver he was training out of the water. All four victims were flown to Cairo for medical treatment and were in critical condition. A spokesman for the Russian embassy in Cairo confirmed that two Russians were attacked Tuesday, but he was only aware of a single Ukranian involved in a shark attack the following day. The discrepancy could not be immediately explained.

Clinton appointee activist Judge upholds healthcare reform law

I'm not shocked that a judge appointed by Bill Clinton will legislate from the bench. This is a wrong decision that will get overturned in the Supreme court.

The Hill reports that a federal judge in Virginia on Tuesday rejected a legal challenge to the healthcare reform law, the second time the law's mandate that people buy insurance has been ruled constitutional.
The lawsuit was brought by Liberty University, which also argued that the law violates the First Amendment by requiring people to buy insurance that could cover abortions.

"I hold that there is a rational basis for Congress to conclude that individuals' decisions about how and when to pay for health care are activities that in the aggregate substantially affect the interstate health care market," ruled U.S. District Judge Norman Moon, a Clinton appointee. "Nearly everyone will require health care services at some point in their lifetimes, and it is not always possible to predict when one will be afflicted by illness or injury and require care.…

"Far from ‘inactivity,’ by choosing to forgo insurance, Plaintiffs are making an economic decision to try to pay for health care services later, out of pocket, rather than now, through the purchase of insurance. As Congress found, the total incidence of these economic decisions has a substantial impact on the national market for health care by collectively shifting billions of dollars on to other market participants and driving up the prices of insurance policies."
