Republican youth leader Josiah Cantrall reported that the Republican Senator was mobbed by union thugs as he approached the capitol today. He was held for several minutes and was forced to call for assistance. The whole incident was captured on camera – Am waiting for updates.




Grothman was on The Last Word today with Lawrence O’Donnell and told the host that the protesters staying in the Wisconsin capitol building were slobs. True.

MAD Marni Yang was denied a makeover for her murder trial yesterday, where she stands accused of   killing ex-Chicago Bear Shaun Gayle's pregnant gal pal.
Lawyer's for the 43-year-old claimed: "She looks frankly like a crazy woman," because of graying hair which now reaches down to her waist. "Her appearance has declined," legal eagle William Hendrick said while also who also wants his client to be allowed to wear make-up.
But Windy City Judge Christopher Stride denied the request saying he didn't think she looked unkempt, adding her behavior in court had been exemplary. 
“If having gray hair means you are crazy," he said
according to The Chicago Tribune.
"Then I am the craziest person in this court.”

Instead he carried on with jury selection for the trial, in which wannabe sex kitten Yang is charged with shooting and killing Rhoni Reuter her perceived love rival who was about seven months pregnant  at the time of her death in October 2007.
Yesterday five men were picked to determine her fate  including a municipal worker, a retiree, a food company exec The Chicago Sun Times reports. 
More will be chosen today.  
A list of potential trial witnesses, was read to the jury pool Tuesday, included not only Gayle but two of his former Chicago Bears teammates from the 1985 Super Bowl squad, Tom Thayer and Emery Moorehead.
It wasn’t clear whether they will actually be called to testify or for which side.

Terrorists and other 'financial enemies' were likely responsible for the near collapse of the U.S. financial system in 2008, a new Pentagon report has concluded.



The 2009 report, Economic Warfare: Risks and Responses, said financial terrorism by Jihadists or countries such as China may have cost the global economy $50 trillion in a series of co-ordinated strikes against the U.S. economy.



In an astonishing conclusion, the report claims two unidentified traders deliberately devalued trillions of dollars' worth of stocks at the height of the crisis.



The report also concludes that untraceable actors undertook a three-tiered attack beginning in 2007, and that 'Phase III [of the attack] may be under way right now.'



'In addition, these same actors have clearly demonstrated the means to carry out such an attack.



'There is sufficient justification to question whether outside forces triggered, capitalised upon or magnified the economic difficulties of 2008.'

The report concluded that: 'Without question, there were actors who had the motive to harm the U.S. economy.



The report was commissioned in early 2009 by the Pentagon's Irregular Warfare Support Program - which prepares U.S. government and military agencies for emerging non-traditional threats.

Its author, economic analyst Kevin Freeman, published it in June 2009 before passing it on to investigators at the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission in November 2010.



Although never classified, sources indicated that the report emerged only after concerned Congressmen and Defence Department officials highlighted its existence to media sources.



Speaking to MailOnline, a source close to the report added: 'It is my understanding that people in the DoD and government officials thought this should be brought to public attention.'



Speaking to the Washington Post, Mr Freeman said that American security forces needed to address vulnerabilities in the U.S. financial system.

He said: 'We spend hundreds of billions of dollars on weapons systems each year.



'But a relatively small amount of money focused against our financial markets through leveraged derivatives or cyber efforts can result in trillions of dollars in losses.

I was asked by one of my readers as to why I hadn’t said anything about Charlie Sheen. I thought about it a moment and felt what more is there to say about a life in total ruin?

I try to find compelling things to write about be it political or cultural. But, Charlie Sheen is as compelling as watching any garden variety reality TV show. Maybe that’s the appeal right there? He’s become reality TV incarnate--hollow entertainment without much substance.

People may find Sheen a fascinating spectacle, but I agree with Leslie Nielsen, “There nothing to see here.”

A CRAZY shooting ended up with two members of the same family injured in what cops are calling an "bizarre accident."
Walking back to his house Allen Jones took his fell over with his .40 handgun blasting himself in the leg.
But when his Aleisha who came to his aid their two-year-old son ran out with her picked up the weapon and brandished it at them.
As his mother struggled to get the gun from him, he shot her in the neck.
Cops think the boy probably thought it was toy.  
Major Anthony Lowery of Alabama's where else Baldwin County Sheriff's said: "The story sounds a little bizarre perhaps.

"But the scene according to investigators matches that story. The story is very consistent with the evidence that was recovered; both the physical evidence and the neighbor's statements."
Both parents are expected to be okay after receiving treatment at the USA Medical Center in Mobile.
No one will be charged at this time, but Allen Jones could have his pistol permit revoked.
Major Lowery said the incident should serve as a reminder: be careful when handling a gun.
