DID BOSTON MOB BOSS BULGER DIE IN COSTA RICA?

BOSTON'S FAVORITE game is back! It's not Bruins hockey, Red Sox baseball or hoopster legends, the Celtics. Nope. Game is called: Where's Whitey? As in Whitey Bulger, last of the old style eastern Irish mob boss and the man reputed to be the model for Jack Nicholson's gangster in The Departed.
The latest, floated in today's Boston Herald, is that the man responsible for scores of homicides is dead of a bum ticker at 81. Heart gave out in Costa Rica. Longtime muse Catherine Greig had him cremated, says Herald columnist Howie Carr.
FBI Special Agent Gregory Comcowich said: “The FBI has no credible information to indicate that Bulger is deceased. Until the FBI receives credible verified information that he has died, the FBI will continue its fugitive investigation.”
