DNA LINKS MEX YOGA MAN TO SUE MARCUM MURDER

IT WAS once again the DNA wot done it. An FBI affadavit says that DNA found on the knife investigators believe was used in the brutal slaying of American University professor Sue Marcum has been linked to a Mexican man. She was murdered last October, which initially looked like a botched burglary.
According to The Washington Post the complaint charges yoga instructor Jorge Landeros, 41, with unlawful flight.  Marcum, 52, a popular accounting professor, when she met Landeros about six years ago when he
lived in D.C. The two became intimate and in 2008, “she made the initial contribution” to an investment fund the duo were “jointly involved in."But it appears that money was the very poor glue that linked the smitten university prof and her lothario.
The affidavit says: “In recent electronic mail between Marcum and Landeros, it was clear that Marcum, a university professor who may have had an intimate relationship with Landeros, was increasingly uncomfortable with the fashion in which Landeros was handling and spending the account funds.”
Detectives have been building a case against the Mexican poet/yogi for months and have obtained a first-degree murder warrant. They are trying to lure him out of Juarez where he teaches yoga.
He has denied killing her.
