LAUREN ASTLEY 'TERRIFIED' OF NATHANIEL FUJITA

NOT GUILTY?
HIGH school football star Nathaniel Fujita has pleaded not guilty to the murder of his long time former girlfriend Lauren Astley.
Meanwhile, pals claim the pretty brunette was "afraid" of him.
Her boss told the Boston Herald, Astley was bothered by repeated phone calls and text messages from Fujita in the hours before authorities say he strangled her with a bungee cord, cut her throat and dumped her in a mars.
Store manager Maeghen Reineke, 26, said Fujita wanted to come to the store and speak to her there. “She was just like, ‘No, no, don’t do that. We’ll talk later,’ ” Reineke said. Reineke said Astley told her Fujita “wasn’t acting normal. She wanted to be done with all of it.
She didn’t want anything to do with him.”

Cops claim the 18-year-old was furious about the couple's recent split so he attacked her with a knife, slashing a huge gaping wound into her throat and wrapping a bungee cord around her neck.
A bicyclist found Astley's body in a marshy area near Sudbury, west of Boston, Monday morning.
Searching his home officer's found blood found on a door handle, the kitchen floor, the kitchen sink and a bathroom sink.
They later found Fujita's bloody clothes and sneakers in a crawl space by his bedroom and that the clothes also had dirt consistent with being in a marsh.
According to prosecutors, Astley and Fujita exchanged phone calls while at she was at work and she told co-workers she was going to meet him when her shift was done.
Fujita later told police on three occasions that he had spoken with Astley briefly at his home. He said she had parked her car up the road and left after short, “awkward” conversation.
But Fujita who was accepted and planned to attend Trinity College, where he was recruited to play football, has denied killing  his ex but nonetheless the judge ordered him  held without bail.
He is charged with first-degree murder.

NATHANIEL FUJITA BITTER OVER LAUREN ASTLEY SPLIT

A BAD BREAK-up killed Lauren Astley, according to Massachusetts cops. Astley, 18, was brutally slain by her football star ex-boyfriend, Nathaniel Fujita, leaving their posh Boston suburb in shock. The families had known each other well, his father being a prof at prestigious Berklee College of Music. Lauren had hoped to be a fashion designer.
Her dad Malcolm Astley told the Boston Herald: “We had known each other for a long time. I watched him play football. He was a highly skilled, great player.”
“There were many sweet things he did for my daughter, so it’s very
hard. The whole community can be thought of as losing two kids.”
Fujita, also 18, was a recent high school graduate and has pleaded not guilty. He is accused of slashing the pretty brunette's throat in his family garage after luring her there. Cops say he then dumped her body in a marsh and hid his blood-soaked clothes.

COPS: NATHANIEL FUJITA, 18, KILLED LAUREN ASTLEY

MASSACHUSETTS cops have arrested an 18-year-old in grisly murder of Lauren Astley, also 18. Her body was discovered early Monday in a marshy area. Cops say Nathaniel Fujita is expected to be arraigned this morning. It's believed she was stabbed in the neck.
Earlier, The Boston Herald spoke with her heartbroken father for anyone who knew anything about the case to come forward. The recent high school graduate had a missing two minute period, according to Malcolm Astley. He said: “What I’m most concerned about now is whether anybody can step forward and provide information on the time slot from 7:45 p.m. to
8 o’clock. Something happened in there. There were some vehicles, some people. Anyone that has information that can help us protect kids."
Lauren left work at about 6:40 p.m. Sunday and was last seen at about 7:45 p.m., her father told the Herald. Her Jeep Grand Cherokee was found at the Wayland town beach 15 minutes later, he added.
A passing bicyclist discovered Lauren's body. She had hoped to be a fashion designer and was about to begin college in North Carolina in the fall.

Her dad knew of no one who would harm his pretty daughter:  “Things will work out. In mysterious ways, they can and will."
