COPS have reopened 250 cold cases to see if they have any connection to the so called 'Grim Sleeper' serial killer.
So far, detective's have charged Lonnie Franklin Jr with the murder of 10 women, some of whom were prostitutes, all of whom died after sexual contact.
But now they believe he may have killed more.

PERVY PROF DAVID FLORY: "HOOKER SITE JUST A HOBBY"

A PERVERT professor who ran a website for hookers told cops, it "was just a hobby."  Longtime New Jersey Physics prof David Flory ran Southwest Companions, which was designed to link prostitutes with johns. But Albuquerque Police Lt. William Roseman said when they collared him about the site, which had been in operation for about three years and had about 1400 members, 200 of whom were prostitutes, Flory told them it was a "hobby."
"He said he was not in this for the money," Roseman explained.
"He flat-out told us his thing was he wanted to create a safe place for
prostitutes and johns to get together. He called it a hobby."   Married, father of three Flory, 68, who has taught at Fairleigh Dickinson University since 1969 and has been a physics professor there since 1980, according to his website.
He also has served as director of FDU's School of Natural Sciences.
Lt Roseman added the password protected site had been the subject of a vice investigation for the last six months after police received tips from prostitutes and johns. A Fairleigh Dickinson University spokeswoman said the school was saddened by the arrest, but did not say if Flory had been suspended from his job.

TWO serial killers are now being sought by cops investigating the 10 murdered bodies found on a deserted Long Island beach. The macabre discoveries included the head of a prostitute missing since 2003.
Investigators have finally identified  the remains of a skull and a pair of hands found in March as belonging to 20-year-old Jessica Taylor, whose headless, handless body was found 40 miles away in Manorville in 2003.
She is the fifth victim publicly identified in the case. 
It is not yet known if whether, like the other victims, she was a prostitute who advertised on Craigslist.
Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota said he was convinced the prostitutes were all killed by the same man, but admitted police have yet to identify a suspect - and there is likely to be a second killer.

He said: "As distasteful and disturbing as that is, there is no evidence that all of these remains are the work of a single killer."

He added that parts of a second woman were also found this year on the beach. Spota says a man and a girl younger than 2 years old also are among the victims.
