Poll: Bill O'Reilly is popular, but Rachel Maddow is unknown to likely voters

Gee, somebody really wasted a lot of time an effort to what most people already knew about the legacy networks.

Doesn’t Rachel Maddow look like the origial Karate Kid?

The Politico reports that more people are getting their news about the upcoming election from cable television than any other source, and from Fox News more than any other cable channel, according to a POLITICO/George Washington University Battleground Poll released Monday.

The poll found that 81 percent of those polled get their news about the midterm elections from cable channels, like Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, or their websites, compared with 71 percent from national network news channels, such as ABC, NBC or CBS, and their websites. Among cable news channels, Fox was the clear winner, with 42 percent of respondents saying it is their main source, compared with 30 percent who cited CNN and 12 percent who rely on MSNBC.

Get full poll results.

The results show the growing influence that 24-hour cable news has on shaping the political consciousness, despite the fact that network newscasts still draw many multiples of the number of viewers of even the highest-rated cable news shows.

“Because people can tune into cable at any time of day, I think the cumulative audience is probably larger than the cumulative audience for the three network news shows,” said Chris Arterton, dean of the George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management.

MSNBC? What’s that? Poll: Only 12% rely on MSNBC for their news

[Snicker] Sorry, but I have to laugh over that one. Didn’t Ed Schultz just say the other day that he too could draw crowds like Glenn Beck? Poor Ed, he may want to start with something less prodigious, like getting someone to watch his nightly ranting. Otherwise, he could end up all by himself shouting on the Mall and everyone wonder who is that fat slob?

Jilted Lover and Media Whore, Ed Schultz, Complains about Obama at Netroots Conference

I think Ed Schultz is trying to surpass Keith Olberman as the most deranged host on MSNBC

Mediaite.com reports that MSNBC and talk radio host Ed Schultz delivered his address to the progressive congregation of bloggers at the Netroots Nation conference, and he had some strong words for the White House.

Message to Ed Schultz

The reason Obama went on Fox News in your time slot is because NOBODY WATCHES YOUR SHOW!

Hello?

I have more readers of this blog than you have viewers. Obama used you, son, like a $2.00 ho on the stroll.

You’re not a reporter, or a journalist. You’re nothing but a very fat, ugly cheerleading tool for the Left. And when NBC Universal finally gets sold, you and The Ed Show will get kicked to the curb faster than Shirley Sherrod on the highway.

So stop crying over Obama!

Bret Baier is cuter than you any day of the week.

Chris Wallace Calls Keith Olberman a Joke

Most people don’t know who Keith Olberman is if you never watched him on ESPN 10 to 115 years ago. He was a pretty good sports highlights guy and he thought that qualified him to cover politics.

Big mistake!

Since leaving sports and moving onto the real world of politics at MSNBC, Olberman has become one of the biggest jokes in cable TV.

Mark Levin calls his show, Cointdown to No Ratings. More people vist this blog than watch his show. He’s as Far Far Loony Left as they come and he’s as big a Obama suck up as Chris Matthews.

The below clip from 2007 is of a radio show where Chris Wallance of Fox News really rips Olberman a new one.

I know this may be 3 years old, but today was the first time I’d ever heard this and I couldn’t stop laughing at how hard Wallace tees off on Olberman.

So, I had to put it up.

Enjoy!
