KIDDIE SEX MONSTER WARREN JEFFS SENTENCED TO LIFE

UPDATE: The leader of a twisted sex cult that preyed upon children has been sentenced to life in prison. Weird Warren Jeffs was convicted of sexually assaulting two of his child brides. The sicko's conviction  came after a twisted trial in which he outlined his beliefs. MORE IN THE WASHINGTON POST
EARLIER: PEDOPHILE Polygamist leader Warren Jeffs, told girls that God would 'reject them' unless they had sex with him.  Prosecutor's produced an audio tapes of the twisted leader of the Fundamentalist Church of the Latter Day Saints, on which he could clearly be heard telling five girls, including two sisters, to "set aside their inhibitions." On the graphic recordings made in 2004 he could also be heard having sex with all the girls at the same time, while on another tape he could be heard telling the girls they "need to be excited" The Star Telegram reports. 
Prosecutors claimed the children included a 14-year-old girl, her two sisters and one half sister.
Jeffs, who has mostly boycotted the sentencing faze of the trial  faces up to 119 years in prison after being convicted by the same jury last week of sexually assaulting two of his brides, who were 12 and 15.
Quite who made the tapes remains unclear, but prosecutors seem to have many recording of Jeff's acting out his sick fantasies with minors.
Just last week, jurors heard a tape of what prosecutors said was Jeffs sexually assaulting the 12-year-old victim.
It has also been documented that 24 of his 78 brides were also underage.  
Mr Walpole, Jeffs's court appointed attorney, has declined to say whether he'll call witnesses during the sentencing phase.

But he has indicated that his plea for leniency will focus on Jeffs being a product of his environment and a culture that hasn't changed for centuries.

POLYGAMIST RICHARD BARTON: 'DIVORCE OR JAIL'

IT’S A UNIQUE way of avoiding time in the slammer and for a Grand Rapids, Michigan man it may be his only choice. Muskegon County Circuit Court Judge Timothy Hicks told polygamist Richard J Barton Jr., that he had four months to divorce one of his wives, or face time in prison.
Barton, 34, pleaded guilty to one charge of polygamy – admitting under oath that he had married a woman last July while still married to a woman in Rhode Island from 2004. Happily for Barton, his choice shouldn’t be too difficult.
Barton is estranged from his first wife Adina Quarto, of Rhode island, who became suspicious when he ‘defriended’ her on Facebook. Quarto did a little digging and soon discovered pictures of Barton at his beach wedding on
another Facebook page. Enraged, Quarto dropped the dime on her husband. In his defence Barton claimed that he had signed divorce papers in 2007, a claim that Quarto rubbished.
Barton has previous convictions for parole violation, failing to show up at court, home invasion and uttering and publishing in Kent County. Can you believe this guy is 34?  That’s what polygamy does to you.

JADON HIGGANBOTHAN: VICTIM OF NC DEATH CULT?

COPS probing a twisted Durham, North Carolina have made another grisly discovery. On Thursday they discovered a second set of human remains and identified the as belonging to Jadon Higganbothan. He was just 5 and his were the second set of remains found. Peter Moses, 27, is charged in both slayings while six other members of the Black Hebrew Israelites were charged in the death of Antoinetta McCoy, 28. Her body was found Wednesday.
The two victims had been missing since February. Their bodies were found on a tip from a local
plumber, who called 911 when he found a bag with a horrible smell with remains that were not from an animal.
It is believed that Moses was the leader of the cult that believed in polygamy. Also charged are Higganbothan's mother, 25-year-old Vania Sisk, 40-year-old Lavada Quinzetta Harris, 56-year-old Sheilda Evelyn Harris, 21-year-old P. Leonard Moses, 20-year-old Sheila Falisha Moses, and 40-year-old Larhonda Renee Smith.
Lavada Harris' dad Willie said of Moses: "I didn't like him. I've been trying to talk to my daughter into cutting ties with him or years. ... I knew it was going to come to this eventually, but you know, there is not too much I can do if she won't listen to her family."
