Obama’s Phony Financial Reform Law Doesn’t Solve Real Problem

Next week you will hear President Obama and the Democrats tout the passing of the most sweeping financial reforms since the Great Depression.

It’s all a crock!

This 2,000 page bill does nothing to address the root cause of our most recent financial meltdown.

This whole bill is another “dance” to fool the public written by corrupt Chris Dodd who got sweetheart loans from Countrywide before they went belly up, and Barney Frank, who once said that Fannie Mae was financially stable.

What this bill really is is another expansion of the Federal government creating thousands of more government workers that will suck the taxpayers dry.

It won’t prevent another financial crisis because Fannie and Freddie are still in business, if you can call what they do business, billions of dollars in the red and will eventually need to be bailed out once again by guess who.

Obama and the Dems disparately needed a talking point for the upcoming mid-terms, and they got one.

But, for the rest of us, we’ll take it where Barney Frank likes it.

If you get my drift!

Scott Brown Votes with Democrats on Jobs Bill (Stimulus 2.0)

OH MY GOD!

What have the people of Massachusetts done?

They’ve elected a Democrat lover.

Impeach Scott Brown!

Seriously folks, be prepared to find stories of Scott Brown making national news whenever he votes with Democrats and the spinning that will follow by The Left. Chris Matthews mouth is probably watering if he can pull it out of Obama’s butt long enough.

The Hill reports:

Newly-seated Republican Sen. Scott Brown (Mass.) on Monday joined Democrats in voting to move forward on their $15 billion jobs bill.
Brown crossed the aisle after Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) nixed an $85 billion, bipartisan plan in favor of a more narrowly-focused bill.

“I came to Washington to be an independent voice, to put politics aside, and to do everything in my power to help create jobs for Massachusetts families," Brown said in a statement. "This Senate jobs bill is not perfect. I wish the tax cuts were deeper and broader, but I voted for it because it contains measures that will help put people back to work."

Scott Brown, after all, is a politician. And all politics is local. At least he’s looking for his state which is a far cry from the two losers that represent me in New York.

Saturday Night Live Spoofs Scott Brown

SNL saw the writing on the wall and was the first entertainment show to take pot shots at President Obama when no one else had the nerve. This is significant considering the show is part of the NBC universe where stations like MSNBC continue to sing Obama’s praises.

This Scott Brown sketch makes the statement that Scott Brown’s arrival to Washington changes ObamaWorld in a huge way.

Update: Video Back Up!

Scott Brown thought the piece was funny.

Obama Turns to Plouffe

What world is Obama living in?

There’s an old saying, “dance with the one who brung ya’”

That’s exactly what President Barack Obama has decided to do by reaching out to his former campaign manger, David Plouffe, as a special guru/advisor/hand holder to pick up the pieces of an presidential agenda in shambles.

Plouffe, who is Obama’s version of Karl Rove, has undeniable talent that took, dare I say it, a community organizer from the Southside of Chicago through a head to head battle with the Clinton War machine and won Democrat the nomination.

Who knew?

So, Obama is feeling kind of feisty according to special adviser David Axelrod, the other David, and can’t wait to engage in battle to recover from his worst week in the White House, speeding up his schedule for engaging in the 2010 political races and planning to use his State of the Union address on Wednesday to show the public a feisty side.

The president wants Pouffe to oversee House, Senate and governor’s races to stave off a hemorrhage of seats in the fall.

The president’s leading pollster, Joel Benenson, will be among those conducting research for Mr. Plouffe, aides said, along with others who will divide the country by regions.

It’s the 2008 campaign all over again!

But, there is a great flaw with this strategy that the Obama administration to this day fails to understand. There is a huge difference between running for president, which Obama actually knows how to do, and governing as president, which Obama has painfully demonstrated day in and day out despite the media’s fawning, that he does not know how to manage.

Plouffe magic does not apply to man who has never ran a business, never ran a state or a city as a chief executive and it shows. So, for the rest of the year until the midterm elections, President Obama will become Candiate Obama all over again.

That dog won’t hunt!

Health Care Bill to Pass in 30 Days or Less

In politics there are things said for the public to hear, but it’s a totally different story behind closed doors.

As recently as a few days ago, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said with a straight face that there weren’t enough votes in the House to pass the senate version of ObamaCare.

What great news for the voters of Massachusetts and the rest of the country who celebrated the recent election of Scott Brown who ran on a promise to be the 41st vote against Health Care reform and who Obama says was voted into office out of public anger.

However, if you think that President Barack Obama and his far Left Liberal base in congress are going to stop cold with their pursuit of their wildly expensive Health Care reform bill, think again.

TPM Video

These are Democrats!

Nationalized Health Care has been a Liberal wet dream since the days of Theodore Roosevelt. But, maybe you might think that Democrats might slow it down and listen to the American people for a change.

Fat chance!

That’s just as likely as 24/7 coverage on C-SPAN of the meetings behind closed doors between Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid figuring out how exactly they can do the nasty do--passing health care.

However, congressman Alan Grayson, the lovable loon of the House of Representatives, who wanted A.G. Eric Holder to prosecute the creator of a parody website, My Congressman Is Nuts.com, may have let the cat out the bag of whats happening in the shadows of congress on Hard Ball with Chris Matthews:

Yeah, Grayson may be a nutjob, but don’t sleep on the thought that its business as usual in Obamaworld despite the Massachusetts Massacre.

Ayla Brown Defends “Off Script” Remark by Senator Elect Scott Brown

Every now and then since the beginning of time, Dads have been known to say the silliest things about their children.

Scott Brown is no different.

This is what happens when you try and follow a script

Now this is what happens when you totally go off script

Since they don’t have much to talk about through the tears of their disappointment, the pundits on the Left are a having a field day knocking Scott Brown for making his daughter available for dating to all the men in America.

But, surprisingly enough Glenn Beck joined in on the dog pile with his own critique of Scott Brown even to the extent of making a “dead intern” put down that harkens back to the Gary Condit incident in which a congressman was suspected of killing an intern who worked for him.

Ayla, Scott, and Arianna

“That is incredible. It just surprises me that people can be so negative,” Ayla said. “I feel as though all fathers across the nation can relate to having daughters and having these conversations…That’s our dad. There’s nothing creepy about it at all.”
Ayla Brown Jan 20, 2010 Politico Interview between classes at Boston Collage

Look, Scott Brown had just finished a grueling campaign to win a race that the so-called experts gave him no shot at winning. So, he goes up there to give the most important victory speech of his life and says something that he probably shouldn’t have. But, if you look at the video, though Ayla was temporarily embarrassed, she took it in stride knowing that he father deeply cares for her as any father would.

It was a human moment for a regular American family.

That’s what made the Scott Brown candidacy so appealing to the voters of Massachusetts.

But, it was a good yuk, anyway!
