The nation of Greece recently had to get bailed out by the rest of Europe thanks to their high spending ways that put them on the brink of insolvency.

A GOP lawmaker warned yesterday that President Obama's spending habits have the United States sliding into the same economic abyss as Greece.
"Considering CBO analysis of Obama Budget tripling natl debt the Pres is 'greece-ing' the slide to American mediocrity. Awake my colleagues," tweeted Sen. Charles Grassley of Iowa, the top Republican on the Senate Finance Committee.
The Congressional Budget Office said last week that US fiscal policy is "unsustainable."
