Meet Dylan Crook, one of the dumbest criminals ever to be put in jail.
The 19-year-old thought it would be a good idea to go for a little drive and shoot his fellow road users with a BB gun.
Cruising around, Staunton, VA, he picked off and damaged at least 33 vehicles on his weird destructive journey for apparently no reason whatsoever.
Needless to say, it didn't take cops long to catch up with the criminal mastermind, who hadn't exactly covered his tracks by the time they caught up with him.
They quickly found a BB rifle, a sawed-off BB gun, and jars of BBs and pellets when they searched his house according to testimony.
Marijuana was discovered in Crook's bedroom.
Sentencing him Judge George Mooney gave him three years in jail with two years suspended. He also ordered Crook to make restitution to the victims.
The baffled official said: "A thief at least stands to get something out of it,"before chastising him for "riding around in a car, smoking marijuana and shooting a BB gun."
