BABYFACED ASSASSIN

A TWISTED sister shot and killed her 14-year-old sibling in a fight over a cell phone, cops say. 
Elena Rendell, 17, is alleged to have shot her younger sister Christina in the neck as they fought in their Florida home. 
Cops say that she grabbed a 9mm pistol from a shelf, pointed it at her sister and fired a single, fatal shot.  
Sheriff’s office spokesman Deputy Chris Welborn said: "It appears that the two juveniles were at home and involved in some sort of argument."
Neighbors told The Pensacola Journal that Rendell then ran from the house, shouting for help, screaming that her sister, thought to be a foster sister had been shot. 
Paramedics then rushed the girl to hospital, but they were unable to save her and cops picked up the youngster without incident.
Astonishingly, she only found out the news that her sister had died, during a court hearing for the shooting.
But she seemed unmoved, staring straight ahead as she was charged as an adult with manslaughter with a firearm, a second-degree felony.
The maximum sentence is life imprisonment.
Judge Ross Goodman rejected a plea from her brother to release Elena into his care and instead she was held on $300,000 bond.

DEADLY DOUGHERTY'S: RYAN 'LIVED IN A FANTASY WORLD'

THE leader of the deadly Dougherty gang, who shot up a cop car in a high speed pursuit and the robbed a bank "lived in a fantasy world" according to his lawyer.
Along with his brother Dylan Dougherty Stanley and sister Lee Grace Dougherty, Ryan Dougherty  has been on a crime spree since last Tuesday, when they were last seen holding up the bank in Valdosta, GA.
Despite being the youngest at 21, cops consider Ryan to be the leader of the terrible trio, who are now believed to be hiding out in Tennessee.
But Robert Eddington the Daytona Beach attorney, defended Ryan the last two years against a lewd and lascivious conduct charge said his client "lived in a fantasy world" and he fears he may strike again, with more deadly consequences. 
He told ABC Action News Ryan entered his office with a blank stare on his face and communicating with the young man was very difficult.
He said: “He didn’t seem particularly there in terms of his mentality. He seemed to be in another place.
"There was a blank look on his face. It was hard for him to focus and look into my eyes because I wanted him to understand fully what was going on.”
He added: "Ryan had the maturity of a 15-year-old boy and often lived in a fantasy world. I’ve seen it before when someone won’t look at you.
"They have this expression, they don’t want to focus and it’s very concerning.”
Eddington was able to make a deal with the prosecutor that, in exchange for pleading guilty to the lewd and lascivious conduct charge, Ryan was able to avoid jail time.
That deal was finalized in a courtroom last Monday, but the very next day Eddington was told that Ryan had cut off his court-required ankle monitor and was now accused of shooting at a police officer.
He said: “I’m only concerned about their safety and the safety of the public as well. I just hope this comes to a conclusion quickly without injury to anybody other than what’s already occurred.”

MICHAEL HANCE NAMED AS MURDERER OF 7 IN OHIO

UPDATE: Cops in Ohio have named Michael E. Hance, 51, as the twisted triggered man who blew away seven other people Sunday--including an 11-year-old boy.
According to CNN, Hance allegedly shot his girlfriend, Rebecca Dieter, 49, at their home before running through his Copley Township neighborhood and killing six other victims.
Police Chief Michael Mier said: "No words can adequately express the loss experienced by the families of the victims and the community at large." Dieter is the only victim who survived the shooting spree. After shooting Dieter, Hance shot
and killed Autumn Johnson, 16, and her grandparents, Russell Johnson, 67 and Gudrun Johnson, 64. Craig Dieter, 51 -- Rebecca's brother -- and an unidentified 16-year-old were also killed at the second crime scene. Hance then chased Bryan Johnson, 44 -- the father of Autumn Johnson -- northward, where he was shot to death in a nearby driveway. He then followed victim Craig Dieter's son, 11-year-old Scott Dieter, into a neighboring house where he was then shot and killed. MORE FROM CNN
EARLIER: A family argument ended with a deadly gun rampage that left eight-people dead, including an 11-year-old boy, cops say.
The crazed man gunned down his girlfriend, before running into an adjacent house where he blasted five other people.
As two more fled the scene he he chased them "through some backyards" in the small town of Copley, OH, hitting one.
Bob McCrady told WJW: "A neighbor of mine sat there riding a motorcycle and seen the guy chasing the little kid with the gun shooting and trying to kill him."
But he wasn't finished yet.
A police statement said: "The shooter then went to another home where two other persons he had chased sought refuge. He entered the home, shot one victim and exited the home."

At that point, a Copley police officer and a former officer who was in the area encountered the shooter who "engaged the officer and the citizen in gunfire and (the shooter) was shot and killed."
Only one person of the eight shot, survived the slaughter and they were hospitalized, although their condition remains unclear. 
Brenda McCrady told the station: "Somebody knocked on my door and a woman was at my porch, hiding on my porch."When McCrady opened the door, the woman ran inside and told McCrady, "somebody had shot her husband point blank in the head. ... And then she started screaming, 'My son, my son, my 11-year-old son.' "
Authorities said one victim was 11 years old.
Another neighbor said residents were shocked and baffled by the shooting and would likely never get a full explanation.

"The killer's gone. We'll never know," they said.

MADMAN MURDERS 5 IN TEXAS ROLLER RINK MASSACRE

IN A SPLIT second of madness, five people were shot and killed at a Grande Prairie, Texas roller rink Saturday and the gunman then blew his brains out. Cops say the killer calming pulled out a pistol and started shooting during a birthday party. It was a domestic disturbance that spiraled out of control.
Police Chief Steven Dye said: "We are still working on identifying the victims, and we are still working on notifying the families."

FISHHOOK + BUTT MADE CHARLES AKIN REMPE SHOOT

EITHER he was in severe pain or he was just plain crazy.
But Charles Akin Rempe claimed he had been blasting his semiautomatic pistol because he had: "a fishhook embedded in his butt," and he wanted to get their attention.
Quite why he couldn't pick up the phone remains a mystery, but neighbors Frederick, MD apartment said he'd been making noise for a few hours.
Cops said he feared someone was trying to break into his house and got the hook stuck when he was trying to flee the perceived danger, police said.

Lieutenant Clark Pennington told AOL: "He felt that there were people that were trying to break into his home - he thought he was in danger," 

"The fish hook was a result of the actions he took to get away."

Amazingly he didn't hit anyone with the .45 gun even through one round went through a side window and lodged in the brick wall of an adjacent building. 

Charges are pending but cops took him to hospital first. 

JARED LEE LOUGHNER 'MENTALLY INCOMPETENT'

GUN NUT Jared Lee Loughner who is accused of the shooting rampage which killed six people and wounded   U.S. Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, among others, has been ruled mentally incompetent to stand trial by a federal judge. U.S. District Judge Larry Burns made the decision after reading reports - which have not been made public -  by psychologist Christina Pietz and psychiatrist Matthew Carrollwho examined him during a five week stay at a federal facility.
It means his trial will be delayed indefinitely. The two were asked to determine whether Loughner understands the consequences of the case against him which has seen him plead not guilty to 49 federal charges. 
He is charged with the shooting at a meet-and-greet event that wounded Giffords and 12 others and killed six people, including a 9-year-old 
Loughner will now be sent to a federal facility for a maximum of four months to see if his competency can be restored.
If he's later determined to be competent, the case against him will resume, if not, his stay at the facility can be extended. There are no limits on the number of times such extensions can be granted.

NUTTY PROFESSOR AMY BISHOP WILL FACE EXECUTION

THE nutty professor who went on a crazy rampage, killing three fellow academics and wounding three more is to face the death penalty if Alabama prosecutors get their way. Crazy Amy Bishop, a Harvard educated neurobiologist, went nuts during a routine meeting of the biology department in the state university's, Huntsville campus.
Pulling out a 0.9mm she started with those closest to her, blasting the chairman of the department Gopi Podila and two other professor's Maria Ragland Davis and Adriel D Johnson Sr.
As the other's fled, she blasted three more people severely wounding them. Bishop’s lawyer, Roy W. Miller told The Boston Globe: "That of course does not come as any great surprise."

He told the Globe before the order was issued that he would pursue an insanity defense.

’’I don’t think there are any other options much available,’’ he said in February, adding that Bishop: "Did not recall the shootings shortly after her arrest. It’s not a whodunit.’’
Bishop has a history of violence having shot and killed her brother, Seth, in 1986 with a shotgun blast at their home in Braintree, MA.
At the time it was ruled an accident, but cops have reopened the case and amid the scrutiny, indicted Bishop on charges of first-degree murder.
However she will have to face the Alabama charges first.

YOUNG MOM FIGHTS FOR LIFE AFTER BRUTAL SHOOTING

A YOUNG mom is fighting for life after being shot five times by her boyfriend who then killed their young son and himself in a horrific murder suicide.
Shannon Paolini, 27 was blasted five times while trying to flee from the home she shared with gun wielding maniac Gammall Perez who then turned the gun on himself after a six-hour standoff with cops.
Police chief Todd Evans said two officers found him at the house but when they tried to talk to him he gave them seconds to leave.
 “At that point, he (Perez) starts a countdown: five, four, three and so forth,” he told The Colorado Springs Gazette.
Neighbour Tiffany LaGuardia added that Paolini ran out of the house, was shot and then collapsed as she tried getting into a pick-up truck.She added: "She came out screaming and yelling for help. He came out shooting her. He came chasing her down, gunned her down."
Cops then tried to contact Perez on the phone and public address system for several hours before a SWAT team entered the home, which was doused in gasoline and found the bodies on Monday night.

The Boston Globe reveals: In March, 2002, Bishop, who recently was charged with killing three colleagues at the Univesity of Alabama, walked into an International House of Pancakes
in Peabody with her family, asked for a booster seat for one of her children, and learned the last seat had gone to another mother.

Bishop, according to a police report, strode over to the other woman, demanded the seat and launched into a profanity-laced rant.

When the woman would not give the seat up, Bishop punched her in the head, all the while yelling "I am Dr. Amy Bishop."
