JAYCEE Dugard didn't try to escape from the hands of her perverted kidnapper because she felt that that by staying she was preventing other children being kidnapped and raped.  
Answering the question that had puzzled people, she testified that she was determined to help others avoid creepy Phillip Garrido's sick perversions. 
The 32-year-old said: "He said he had a sex problem and that if he got me he wouldn't have to do this to anyone else. So I felt I was helping prevent this happening to anyone else, even if it was in a sick and perverted way.
Dugard, who's book 'A Stolen Life: A Memoir',  is due out soon, was snatched, when she was just 11-years-old, added that she felt trapped in Garrido's home in Antioch, east of San Fransisco, especially after giving birth to her daughters Angel, now 15, and Starlet, 13, and feared without any money she had nowhere to go.
She said: "I always felt I was a coward. I was scared of Phillip. And I did not feel like I had anywhere to run to. And, later on, I realised I had the girls and no money, and where would I go'?"
Duggard's nightmare began after she waved goodbye stepfather and walked to a bus stop, when Garrido crawled up behind her in his car and pounced with his wife Nancy.   
She said: "All of a sudden his hand shoots out of the car window and I feel this shock, I stumble back into the bushes trying to back away,"
"But my body feels all tingly and suddenly I'm in the car, in the back, on the floorboards, under a blanket and there is someone sitting on me.
"And then, as we drive on for what seems like for ever, and I am hot and my bladder has emptied, I hear this man say 'I can't believe we got away with it,' and he started laughing."
She also revealed how she pleaded with him to release her, explaining her family could not afford a ransom.
But she quickly realised he was more concerned with having a sex slave rather than earning money from his abductee.

THE CALIFORNIA COUPLE who kept Jaycee Dugard as a sex slave for nearly 20 years will never likely see the outsie of prison walls again. The sick pair--who both earlier pleaded guilty to kidnapping nand rape--were sentenced yesterday.
Phillip Garrido, 60, and his wife Nancy, 55, were hammered with prison terms of 431 years to life and 36 years to life respectively. Described as a "sexual predator" who stole two decades of Jaycee's life, Garrido was also castigated for the torture he put the child's mother through during her long absence.

Her mom Terry Probyn asked the court: "How could someone take away the one person in the world I loved so deeply? Where is she? Is she hungry? Is she cold? Is she hurt? My baby was gone and all my dreams turned to nightmares. She was a vulnerable child and I was unable to help her. 
"During 18 years away, I could hear her crying, not with my ears, but with my heart. I could feel her pain, not with my body, but with my heart.... I lived in hell on earth. It was you Nancy Garrido and Phillip Garrido that broke my heart."

Dugard, now 31, was walking to a bus stop in view of her South Lake Tahoe home June 10, 1991, when she was snatched off the street in front of her horrified stepdad. After that, she became their sexual plaything, impregnated by Garrido when she was just 14.

I hate it though when one of them gets to cut a deal to convict the other. Shouldn’t there be a better way to put peopple like these undert the jail?

UK Daily Mail reports that a Missouri couple have been accused of holding a young woman as a sex slave while torturing her for up to seven years in a twisted case of sado-masochism.

But Marilyn Bagley, who was told she will not be charged if she testifies against her husband Ed, is refusing to take the stand because she believes the couple did nothing wrong.

When announcing charges last month, U.S. Attorney Beth Phillips called the case one of 'the most horrific ever prosecuted in this district'.

Authorities said the woman, who has not been identified, was a mentally deficient runaway who was recruited by Ed Bagley, 43, at the age of 16 to live in his trailer.

The situation came to light in early 2009, after the woman, then 23, landed in a hospital following what prosecutors said was a torture session.

The young woman had apparently been locked in a cage and subjected to electrical shocks, an indictment said. Parts of her body were allegedly nailed to wooden planks. Now Bagley faces 11 federal charges, including conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and forced labor trafficking.

Four other men also are charged with various crimes.

A graphic 21-page federal indictment describes medieval-like sexual devices being used on the woman at Bagley's mobile home. Accusations of waterboarding, suffocation and beatings are mentioned throughout.
