Muslims bomb Christian Church in Egypt, again, killing 21 at New Year’s Eve Mass

If you’re a Christian in a Muslim dominated country, you are marked for death. Yet, when Muslims come to the United States they demand to be treated special by refusing to assimilate into the culture. However, our constitution dictates that we be tolerant of other faiths and offer them equal protection under the law.

That is not the case in the Middle East and it is unacceptable that the same kind of tolerance does not exist there!

Until I see the day that Christian churches can be built in Saudi Arabia and other Muslim dominated countries, until I see the day that so-called moderate Muslims will begin to speak out against the killing of Christians, and until I see the day that Muslims in the Middle East can demonstrate religious tolerance such as we have here in the United States, I will continue to view these people as perpetrators of peace and faith.

CBS News reports that a powerful bomb, possibly from a suicide attacker, exploded in front of a Coptic Christian church as a crowd of worshippers emerged from a New Years Mass early Saturday, killing at least 21 people and wounding nearly 80 in an attack that raised suspicions of an al Qaeda role.

The attack came in the wake of repeated threats by al Qaeda militants in Iraq to attack Egypt's Christians. A direct al Qaeda hand in the bombing would be a dramatic development, as Egypt's government has long denied that the terror network has a significant presence in the country. Al Qaeda in Iraq has already been waging a campaign of violence against Christians in that country.

Police initially said the blast came from an explosives-packed car parked outside the Saints Church in the Mediterranean port city. But the Interior Ministry later said it was more likely from a suicide bomber who blew himself up among the crowd. Both tactics are hallmarks of al Qaeda and have been rarely used in Egypt, where the government crushed an insurgency by Islamic militants in the 1990s.

Though the government of President Hosni Mubarak denies an al Qaeda presence, Egypt does have a rising movement of Islamic hard-liners who, while they do not advocate violence, adhere to an ideology similar in other ways to al Qaeda. There have been fears they could be further radicalized amid growing sectarian tensions between Egypt's Muslim majority and Christian minority.
Nearly 1,000 Christians were attending the New Year's Mass at the Saints Church, said Father Mena Adel, a priest at the church.

The service had just ended, and some worshippers were leaving the building when the bomb went off about a half hour after midnight, he said. "The last thing I heard was a powerful explosion and then my ears went deaf," Marco Boutros, a 17-year-old survivor, said from his hospital bed. "All I could see were body parts scattered all over - legs and bits of flesh."

Blood splattered the facade of the church, as well as a mosque directly across the street. Bodies of many of the dead were collected from the street and kept inside the church overnight before they were taken away Saturday by ambulances for burial. Some Christians carried white sheets with the sign of the cross emblazoned on them with what appeared to be the blood of the victims. Mubarak vowed to track down those behind the attack, saying "we will cut off the hands of terrorists and those plotting against Egypt's security."

"This terrorist act has shaken the conscience of the nation," he said in a statement, adding that "all Egypt was targeted, and terrorism does not distinguish between Copt and Muslim."

Intel Memos Warn Radical Cleric's Call to Kill Americans May Inspire Attacks

While the Ass kicker-in-Chief is so consumed with BP and the oil spill while he’s not playing golf, attending a party, or looking for capitalists under his bed, he may want to consider our enemies just may want to kick our ass when we’re down.

From Fox News:

Two new intelligence memos obtained by Fox News point to increasing alarm over radical cleric Anwar al-Awlaki's recent call to kill American civilians.

Awlaki is the American-born cleric residing in Yemen who has been tied to the Fort Hood shooting last fall, the Christmas Day jet bombing attempt and the attempted Times Square car bombing in May.

The two intelligence documents, which are for official use only, describe how the cleric's escalating rhetoric could attract dangerous followers inside the United States.

The first memo, which refers to the cleric as Aulaqi, was written by the Department of Homeland Security's Office of Intelligence and Analysis and dated May 26. It warned that the cleric could "inspire" groups to launch terror attacks.

"The FBI and DHS/Office of Intelligence and Analysis are concerned that Anwar Aulaqi's support for violence against U.S. military and civilian targets could inspire terrorist groups or individuals to conduct attacks in the United States," the memo said.

"The FBI and DHS/I&A encourage reporting of suspicious activity to appropriate authorities and encourage our homeland security, military and law enforcement partners to remain vigilant."

The intelligence "note," which was written for federal and non-federal security agencies, points specifically to Awlaki's video message May 23 which was posted to a jihadist website.

In the "interview," produced by an Al Qaeda propaganda group, Awlaki justified violence against the U.S. and praised previous attacks.
The intelligence note stated that Awlaki "affirmed his support for the actions of alleged Fort Hood shooter Major Nidal Hasan and alleged Northwest flight 253 bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab.

Embolden Iran Spits in Obama’s Face and Offers Escort for Gaza Ships

I have no doubt that Israel and the IDF will continue to enforce the blockade irregardless of what Iran does. However, the only reason Iran has the hubris to assist this shame of a humanitarian flotilla is because the rest of the world has shown themselves to be a bunch of cowardly lions.

When you’re not willing to project unified strength ageist aggression, enemies get bolder and are willing to challenge the world’s resolve time after time.

Do you think Iran would dare do this under George Bush?

Hell no!

Bush would have put his foot up their ass!

But, nobody fears the community organizer-in-chief.

From The Jerusalem Post:

Supreme leader Khamenei offers military protection for activists.

Iran would be willing to send its Revolutionary Guard members to accompany further aid ships to Gaza, Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Sunday in an interview cited by Reuters."The naval wing of the Revolutionary Guard is ready to assist the peace flotilla to Gaza with all its effort and capabilities," Khamenei's Revolutionary Guard spokesman Ali Shirazi stated.

If the Supreme Leader issues an order for this then the Revolutionary Guard naval forces will do their best to secure the ships," Shirazi said. "It is Iran's duty to defend the innocent people of Gaza."

Last week, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad termed the IDF raid on the Gaza-bound Mavi Marmara as "barbaric" and called for dismantling of “the Zionist regime.”

Maybe We Should Profile Celebrities as Possible Terrorists

In all the hoopla concerning the rise of terrorist attacks on the American homeland thanks to a president (Barack Obama) who was more interested in playing golf than doing his job as commander-in-chief, we may need to pay closer attention to celebrities’ comings and goings.

Perez Hilton reported on his blog that Halle Berry and her boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry totally bypassed security checkpoints at the Quebec Trudeau airport a couple of weeks ago with the help of a police escort.

Call me crazy, but does this sound like another red flag?

We all know that Hollywood is saturated with American-hating Liberals that provide a prime breeding ground for Al-Qaeda radicalization.

Sounds crazy?

Probably as crazy as an Army officer, Nidal Malik Hasan, firing shots at fellow soldiers, killing 12, at Fort Hood while yelling, “God is great!” in Arabic.

So is it so far fetched to think that Sean Penn can waltz right onto a plane without going through TSA checkers and end up blowing himself up for the cause of Allah?

Think about it.

Sarah Palin Schools President Obama on National Security

The following is a statement by Sarah Palin from her Face Book page.

“President Obama’s meeting with his top national security advisers does nothing to change the fact that his fundamental approach to terrorism is fatally flawed. We are at war with radical Islamic extremists and treating this threat as a law enforcement issue is dangerous for our nation’s security. That’s what happened in the 1990s and we saw the result on September 11, 2001. This is a war on terror not an “overseas contingency operation.” Acts of terrorism are just that, not “man caused disasters.” The system did not work. Abdulmutallab was a child of privilege radicalized and trained by organized jihadists, not an “isolated extremist” who traveled to a land of “crushing poverty.” He is an enemy of the United States, not just another criminal defendant.

It simply makes no sense to treat an al Qaeda-trained operative willing to die in the course of massacring hundreds of people as a common criminal. Reports indicate that Abdulmutallab stated there were many more like him in Yemen but that he stopped talking once he was read his Miranda rights. President Obama’s advisers lamely claim Abdulmutallab might be willing to agree to a plea bargain – pretty doubtful you can cut a deal with a suicide bomber. John Brennan, the President’s top counterterrorism adviser, bizarrely claimed “there are no downsides or upsides” to treating terrorists as enemy combatants. That is absurd. There is a very serious downside to treating them as criminals: terrorists invoke their “right” to remain silent and stop talking. Terrorists don’t tell us where they were trained, what they were trained in, who they were trained by, and who they were trained with. Giving foreign-born, foreign-trained terrorists the right to remain silent does nothing to keep Americans safe from terrorist threats. It only gives our enemies access to courtrooms where they can publicly grandstand, and to defense attorneys who can manipulate the legal process to gain access to classified information.

President Obama was right to change his policy and decide to send no more detainees to Yemen where they can be free to rejoin their war on America. Now he must back off his reckless plan to close Guantanamo, begin treating terrorists as wartime enemies not suspects alleged to have committed crimes, and recognize that the real nature of the terrorist threat requires a commander-in-chief, not a constitutional law professor.”

Obama’s Top Counter-Terror Adviser: “There is no smoking gun.” Translation: Be afraid, be very afraid!

And the incompetence just keeps on coming from the Obama administration!

Yesterday President Barack Obama, who is still vacationing in Hawaii to feed his golf addiction, trotted out Deputy National Security Advisor John Brennan to the Sunday news shows, to attempt to calm the public’s angst over the recent failed terrorist attack on Christmas day by the fruit-of-loom bomber.

It didn’t work.

Incredibly, Brennan said this on Fox News Sunday:

“There is no smoking gun. There was no single piece of intelligence that said this guy is going to get on a plane.”

This guy makes Janet Napolitano look like Sherlock Holmes.

Now, I’m not an intelligence expert, but I used to be an investigator for the City of New York. And if I found out a man’s (Umar Farouik Abdulmutallab) own father walked into a U.S. Embassy in Lagos to report his own son had gone Jihadist, that’s pretty damn smokey.

And if I found out that the same guy spent time in Yemen, my eyes may begin to water.

Then if I also found out that the same guy had been banned from Britain, I may actually started coughing.

Why was the underwear bomber banned from Britain?

Brennan explained, “It was because of immigrations concern that was not related to terrorism at all.”

It turned out that Mr. Hot Pants lied on a visa application by putting down a fictitious school he wanted to attend in England.

I see.

So a Muslim who spent time in Yemen, lied on official government documents where you must sign an affirmation that you’re telling the truth, and Obama’s national security deputy still doesn’t see any 2020 hindsight smoke?

Why did he go on TV at all?

I hear the president is trying to coax Inspector Clouseau out of retirement. He’ll fit right in.

Islam Will Dominate the World if Christians Don’t Stand Up

Old Europe is dying and Islam is filling the void of a culture that is not sustaining itself.

Brothers and Sisters, we are in a war that is separate and apart from the conflict against radical Islamism.

This is a war to save souls for Christ and simultaneously protect our American culture that was built on Judeo-Christian beliefs.

We have a president of dubious Christian faith that seems more willing to downplay the role of Christianity in the founding of this country while at the same time inflating the importance of Islam in American history.

So, let’s be mindful of the threat that truly confronts us and refuse to let Political Correctness paralyze us from doing what needs to be done.

Pray and Don’t Be Afraid!

PROSECUTING PATRIOTS

WITH the ugly sanctimony of those who never had to make hard decisions, the American left demands show trials of those who kept us safe after 9/11. Wrapping themselves in repugnant self-righteousness, the MoveOn.org set wants political prosecutions. Should President Obama acquiesce, he won't be furthering the rule of law, but dismantling it.

Show trials have long been popular with leftists. Those who don't conform to each jot of doctrine become "enemies of the people." From Stalin down to Putin, and from Mao to Castro, vengeance disguised as law has been a mega-hit.

Those on the left don't want justice. If they did, they'd be protesting the murderous torture prevalent in Iran, the Gaza Strip, Syria, Cuba, Venezuela and Russia. Instead, our leftists want us to show the leaders of those terror states more respect.

The left is out for revenge. It always is. Hatred of those who think differently is the left's unifying principle. Leftists don't need God, but they see devils everywhere.

When President-for-Life Hugo Chavez called President George W. Bush "el Diablo," our leftists agreed. Hatred of the last administration grew so irrational that any terrorist, no matter how monstrous, became no more than a victim of Bush-Cheney.

Now the left wants an Inquisition for heretics who failed to share its worldview. Men and women who, in their capacity as public servants, wrestled with difficult legal issues in the course of our battle with terrorists are now to be tried and shamed because the left disagreed with their legal opinions and actions. No matter that most Americans wouldn't view the methods of our interrogators as torture when applied to hardened terrorists (despite the media's ceaseless effort to convince us otherwise). No matter that foreign leaders championed by the left use vastly more brutal techniques.

No matter that interrogators differ on the utility of "harsh" methods or that the information gleaned indisputably saved American lives. No matter that our system of government functioned as it was designed to.

The left just didn't like the results the system produced. Law has nothing to do with this cry for vengeance. This is purely about political differences. During the Bush administration, leftists warned repeatedly that actions they didn't like put our country on a "slippery slope." Well, once we initiate show trials of government officials who did their best to protect us, we'll have skipped the slippery slope and leapt to the bottom.

If Obama agrees to any form of show trial, he and his own team will live to regret it. His party won't always be in power, and he'll have set a hideous, un-American precedent.

If the Obama administration fails to keep us safe and our citizens are attacked at home or abroad, shall we then prosecute those who dismantled our safeguards and gutted our intelligence effort?

As countless leftists learned in the course of the 20th century, today's witness for the prosecution is tomorrow's enemy of the people.

The rule of law is paramount. When we pervert the law for political ends, we attack our deepest foundations. Where would such show trials stop? Will we try Supreme Court justices for issuing legal opinions with which a future administration disagrees?

There are plenty of genuine crimes worth prosecuting in Washington, DC. Corruption abounds. Not a few members of Congress -- from both parties -- should be in jail. But corruption isn't taken seriously. Politics are.

If the left gets its People's Court to destroy the lives of patriots who did their human, imperfect best to defend us (and who succeeded in that effort for seven years), we will do more damage to the United States than all the dictators our president longs to embrace could do together.

The left has nothing against torture. It just wants to choose the victims.

Meanwhile, that great bogeyman beloved of left-wing propagandists and Hollywood (sorry for being redundant), Sen. Joseph McCarthy, is grinning from ear to ear in hell: He's become the left's new role model.
